1. What Dublin24h is

Dublin24h is a platform that helps people live, work and study in Dublin: housing listings, community groups, jobs, marketplace, services, events, Dublin guide and an AI assistant. You keep a single account for all of it.

2. Account rules

• You must be 16 or older to create an account.
• One person, one account. No shared or automated accounts.
• Keep your credentials safe. If you suspect a compromise, email support immediately.
• You are responsible for everything posted under your account.

3. Community rules

• First 24 hours: you can post at most 1 topic and 1 comment.
• First 3 posts are reviewed by moderators before publication.
• No private messages between users — all communication is public in groups or via listing contact forms.
• No scams, no harassment, no hate speech, no illegal content.
• No landlord discrimination on race, religion, nationality, family status, sexual orientation, disability, gender or age (Equal Status Acts).

4. Listings + marketplace

You are the seller/lister of anything you post. Dublin24h is a directory — we don't own, inspect, endorse or guarantee any listing. You must obey Irish law including the Residential Tenancies Acts, the RTB registration requirement for landlords, and consumer protection law.

5. Paid plans

Subscriptions (Essential €9/mo, Premium €19/mo, Family €39/mo) are billed monthly via PayPal. You can cancel anytime in your account — you keep access until the end of your paid period. No refunds for partial months.

6. Password reset delay

Password reset emails are issued 24 hours after the request as a security measure against account takeover. If your request is urgent, contact support.

7. AI assistant

AI answers are informational only. They are not legal, tax, immigration or medical advice. Always verify official requirements at Citizens Information, Revenue, INIS, HSE or the relevant authority.

8. Moderation + termination

We can remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, without notice, at our discretion. Repeated or serious violations lead to permanent bans.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Dublin24h is provided "as is". We are not liable for any loss arising from housing, jobs, services or transactions facilitated through the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits your non-waivable rights as an Irish consumer.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts, without prejudice to consumer rights in your country of residence.
